Day 12, Meal 24

Day 12, Meal 24

My Rating:

Tonight’s trip was to the GAINESVILLE (Alachua County) location. For my meal, I went with Whole Grain Linguine, Alfredo/Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Crispy Shrimp Fritta:

Wow, this meal was AMAZING… Seriously, 11/10. Hands down my favorite so far. And to top it off, everything about this restaurant was incredible. I wish I got some more inside pictures.  It’s super modern and different layout from the normal OG. Check out the outside:

We ventured over here after Chloe & Olivia had their Taekwondo class. Here are my girls in a prior photo in their dobok’s  (left) and one taken today (right):

Here they are, patiently waiting for our table tonight. On a Friday night, in a VERY populated area, at a very nice Olive Garden restaurant, we had to wait a whopping…. 5 minutes.

Our server, Natasha, was AWESOME as well. Having a good server really makes the dining out experience exceptional. Having exceptional service and exceptional food makes for quite the great night.

Here is a picture of the girls (again) with Play-Doh:

Now you might be thinking why my girls have this, at the restaurant… Well the GM of this location, Justin Flanders, stopped by the table to see how everything was, and asked the girls if they liked Play-Doh, which they responded YES!!! He mentioned they had just done a family event and had some left over and would be more than happy to give them one to share. Now THAT is awesome service that really made THEIR night too.

Here is a video of Olivia, while eating her Chicken Nuggets, and wanted to share that it looked like the moon:

Here is another video of Olivia saying she wants to be a Chef at Olive Garden when she gets older:

Here is a picture of Chloe looking on guard as Olivia eye’s her food (per normal, despite having her own):

Here is the Ziosk showing a savings of $15.96:

Here is the nutritional information for this meal:

…and just when you think the night is over, somehow we ended up at ANOTHER Olive Garden on the way home:

When you have little kids, on a long(ish) road trip, you never know when they will need to make a pit stop… Sadly, no more food for us tonight. 🙂

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
