Day 16, Meal 31

Day 16, Meal 31

My Rating:

Today’s lunch meal is a modification from an earlier 10/10 rated meal which was Rigatoni, Five Cheese Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta. For this meal, I swapped out the protein for Crispy Shrimp Fritta:

Wow, so good.  Definitely another 10/10. I actually think I liked this more than when it had Crispy Chicken Fritta. Everything about it was perfect. And with it being a refill portion, it wasn’t even many calories at all! What you see above is only 465 calories! I obviously had to add a breadstick and some cheese though 🙂

….. and lets not forget why we are here (DESSERT WEEK), presenting Cookie Butter Cake:

The description is: “Cookies crumbled into creamy sweet butter, layered on vanilla cake with a caramel drizzle”.

Ok, so this was great as well. I let it sit out for a bit as I read it was better at room temperature, so I ordered it with my meal and had them come out together. This was fantastic as well, strong caramel flavor as well as very very buttery. The ONLY complaint I have is the first word in the name is Cookie, and there was NO resemblance of anything cookie-esque, from texture or flavor. The ziosk does show the name as Caramel Buttercream Cake instead of Cookie Butter Cake, which seems to be a better fit 🙁 With that said, it’s still a solid 8/10, bringing the overall meal slightly down to a 9/10.

Here is the Ziosk showing a savings of $15.88:

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
