Day 36, Meal 71

Day 36, Meal 71

My Rating:

It’s Monday, so that means it’s new theme time! Okay, so I will admit, this week isn’t going to be the most fun, but it’s definitely essential. I derailed slightly, gaining a couple of pounds this past week, but not at the fault of OG, as after 5 weeks of nothing but OG, I ALSO had some snacks here and there on the side, which when combined with Double Meat week, there were no extra calories to spare and not enough extra calories burned. So meet “Make Me Shrimpy” week (pun intended), where I will order small (refill) portions of Pasta. Since I’m drastically reducing my caloric intake, I’ll be spreading to 3 visits a day! The (refill) pasta will be paired with (refill portions of) Traditional Marinara & Crispy Shrimp Fritta for breakfast (12pm), Traditional Meat Sauce & Crispy Shrimp Fritta for lunch (4pm), and Traditional Meat Sauce with (a full size portion of) Crispy Shrimp Fritta for dinner (7pm). It will be a different pasta for each day (luckily we have 7 pasta choices), so no meal will be duplicated. I will be following the Lose It! suggested calories for 2 pounds a week weight loss, which gives me just under 1,400 for the day.

Meal # 1 on the “Make Me Shrimpy” diet is Spaghetti, Traditional Marinara & Crispy Shrimp Fritta:

Not a bad start! I’d say 7/10, and I currently feel perfectly satiated, despite the low(er) calories. Plus the upside is I’ll be eating again in only a few hours!

Here is the receipt showing a cost savings of $15.96:

Jeff

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
