Day 41, Meal 90

Day 41, Meal 90

My Rating:

Today’s theme is Gluten-Free(ish), which means I’m be having Glueten-Free Rotini across 6 VISITS today, ALL with Crispy Shrimp Fritta (which has Gluten), and each being with a new sauce (4 have Gluten). I haven’t had this pasta much so this gives me the chance to directly compare the pasta with a different sauce. 2 of 6 sauces up is Traditional Meat Sauce:

While the last meal with Asiago Garlic Alfredo got a low 6, this fares MUCH better. I’d give it a 7.5 (rounded up to an 8), and some added cheese would push it to an 8 for sure. The Rotini didn’t seem to really absorb this specific sauce, which worked really well. It was cooked Al dente, which was great. The Crispy Shrimp Fritta was surprisingly fine in this dish, although Meatballs or Italian Sausage would fare better.

Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $15.88:

Jeff

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
