Day 60, Meal 146

Day 60, Meal 146

My Rating:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today is a day I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time! I absolutely LOVE Thanksgiving, as it’s a great time to feast around the ones we love. Every year my father-in-law does ALL the cooking, so I get to sit back, relax and enjoy. While I’ll still be calorie counting with Lose It!, I will certainly be having a bunch of delicious food. I plan what I’ll be eating in advance, a strategy I like to use to try and prevent myself from over-indulging.

I start off with a modest plate:

After finishing this delicious plate, I was mildly craving a little more, so I took some ingenuity from my Stickwich days, and made this beauty:

PERFECTION!

Let’s not forget my leftover Pumpkin Cheesecake from The Last Supper:

I also had to have some of my mom’s famous Banana Bread (w/butter):

Okay, after a mild food coma which put me to sleep most of the day, I woke up hungry and had to break out my Olive Garden leftovers. Here is the full order from Day 44, Meal 105 of Spaghetti, Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Meatballs:

And here is the frozen half portion of the above meal:

And here it is defrosted and ready to eat:

Wow, SHOCKED at how good this is from simply throwing it in the microwave on defrost. A slight reduction in score, from a prior 10 to a 9, due to the Asiago Garlic Alfredo sauce being absorbed by the noodles (but still present).

Jeff

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
