-Gluten-Free(ish), Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Meat Sauce & Crispy Shrimp Fritta [Refill]

Day 41, Meal 89

My Rating:

My Rating:Today’s theme is Gluten-Free(ish), which means I’m be having Glueten-Free Rotini across 6 VISITS today, ALL with Crispy Shrimp Fritta (which has Gluten), and each being with a new sauce (4 have Gluten). I haven’t had this pasta much so this gives me the chance to directly compare the pasta with a different sauce. 1 of 6 sauces up is Asiago Garlic Alfredo: So, while this looks great, it was a little bland, with the HUGE exception for those bites combined with the awesome garlic cloves from the Asiago Garlic Alfredo. The Shrimp was great too, but once I ran […]

-Dessert Week, Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta [Refill] + Black Tie Mousse Cake

Day 19, Meal 37

My Rating:

My Rating:Today’s lunch is Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta, which is from Day 11, Meal 22, sans the Five Cheese Marinara: Sadly, I did not like this meal much at all. The Traditional Marinara was overly chunky for me, which it probably is like that normally, but I think the majority of the times I’ve had it, it’s been mixed with other sauces. I just feel like nothing in the meal paired well. 🙁 5/10. With the bad news out of the way, I was really excited for today’s dessert, one of my favorites: Black Tie Mousse […]

-50/50 Sauce Week, Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Meat Sauce/Alfredo & Crispy Chicken Fritta

Day 13, Meal 25

My Rating:

My Rating:For today’s meal, the kiddos and I took a trip over to the Sarasota Landings Shopping Plaza (Sarasota County) Olive Garden, and for today’s 50/50, I went with Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Meat Sauce/Alfredo & Crispy Chicken Fritta: I have now been to the 3 primary regions of Florida: North Florida, Central Florida & South Florida. Here is the outside of the Sarasota location, which was about 130 miles away: This was a good meal. I would say 7/10. It was one of the few times the pasta was cooked al dente, which for me was fine as I typically cook my […]

-50/50 Sauce Week, Gluten-Free Rotini, Five Cheese Marinara/Traditional Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta

Day 11, Meal 22

My Rating:

My Rating:For tonight’s Olive Garden visit, I ventured over to Port Richey, FL in Pasco County, which is the 7th County I’ve been to since last week. My 2 girls Chloe & Olivia were excited to take a drive (they love going in the car).  I did some calculations earlier today to figure out remaining sauce options, and here is the break down of what I have left: Alfredo/Asiago Garlic Alfredo Creamy Mushroom /Alfredo Creamy Mushroom /Five Cheese Marinara Creamy Mushroom /Traditional Marinara Creamy Mushroom /Traditional Meat Sauce Five Cheese Marinara/Traditional Marinara  Traditional Marinara/Traditional Meat Sauce Traditional Meat Sauce/Alfredo …and what I’ve […]

-Testing the Waters, Gluten-Free Rotini, Five Cheese Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta

Day 4, Meal 7

My Rating:

My Rating:So here we are, meal 7. My LAST new pasta option available to me since I’ve tried the other 6, Gluten-Free Rotini. I paired that with my favorite sauce, Five Cheese Marinara along with Crispy Chicken Fritta: ..And I know what you are thinking: “Wow, finally a meal without grated cheese on top. Nope, don’t worry: As this was the first time having the Gluten-Free Rotini, I wasn’t really sure what to expect texture and taste wise, but it was great and did not disappoint. I have no reason to actually eat Gluten-Free, as you can tell with my […]
