Day 13, Meal 25

Day 13, Meal 25

My Rating:

For today’s meal, the kiddos and I took a trip over to the Sarasota Landings Shopping Plaza (Sarasota County) Olive Garden, and for today’s 50/50, I went with Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Meat Sauce/Alfredo & Crispy Chicken Fritta:

I have now been to the 3 primary regions of Florida: North Florida, Central Florida & South Florida. Here is the outside of the Sarasota location, which was about 130 miles away:

This was a good meal. I would say 7/10. It was one of the few times the pasta was cooked al dente, which for me was fine as I typically cook my pasta like that. I also enjoyed the 50/50 split of Meat Sauce with Alfredo combined with the Chicken Fritta, as I wasn’t quite sure how it would work out!

Our server Amanda was fantastic. She made some suggestions of places to go in the area, such as Jungle Gardens, Mote Marine Aquarium, and Whitaker Gateway Park. We already had plans to visit the South Florida Museum later on, so stopping over at the Whitaker Park on the way there fit the bill perfectly, as when I told the girls what Olive Garden we were going to, I told them it was by the water and the park was right on the water. Take a look at tonight’s dinner post to see more details about our out and about day.

Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $14.96:

Jeff

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
