Day 19, Meal 37

Day 19, Meal 37

My Rating:

Today’s lunch is Gluten-Free Rotini, Traditional Marinara & Crispy Chicken Fritta, which is from Day 11, Meal 22, sans the Five Cheese Marinara:

Sadly, I did not like this meal much at all. The Traditional Marinara was overly chunky for me, which it probably is like that normally, but I think the majority of the times I’ve had it, it’s been mixed with other sauces. I just feel like nothing in the meal paired well. šŸ™ 5/10.

With the bad news out of the way, I was really excited for today’s dessert, one of my favorites: Black Tie Mousse Cake:

This is described as “rich layers of chocolate cake, dark chocolate cheesecake and creamy custard mousse”. I have always enjoyed this dessert and today it totally brought my meal experience up several notches, and I sure left a happy customer. Thank goodness for chocolate. The only downside is it was a tad rich, especially once you get to the end with the overload of morsels… I would love this dessert 10-fold if they would somehow incorporate some peanut butter! 8/10. This brings the overall meal to a 6.5, rounded up to a 7.
