Day 33, Meal 66

Day 33, Meal 66

My Rating:

For National Breadstick Day, I had originally planned on having 6 breadsticks with all 6 sauces, over at the local Inverness Olive Garden, as a way to celebrate. However, I had a last minute change of plans since my wife was coming home from Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the girls as I was getting out of work, and wanted to meet over at Olive Garden in The Villages. Since I have a 5k run in the morning, I thought it might be a better idea to have a complete meal, vs breadsticks which might not hold me over for too long, despite the plan to have a whopping 6 of them. I think I made a smart choice, as tonight’s meal was one of my all time favorites. For another Double Meat selection, I went with Whole Grain Linguine, Asiago Garlic Alfredo and Double for BOTH Crispy Shrimp Fritta & Crispy Chicken Fritta:

Wow, this meal was AMAZING. Such a perfect combination. I am pretty confident this is my new all time favorite meal, to date. I can’t think of anything that would make it better, and the BEST thing, it comes in UNDER my 1300 calorie limit, at 1295! That’s pretty incredible considering this is the highest calorie sauce Olive Garden offers on the Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu, combined with *2* FULL orders of protein topping.

Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $16.03:

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
