Day 41, Meal 91

Day 41, Meal 91

My Rating:

Today’s theme is Gluten-Free(ish), which means I’m be having Glueten-Free Rotini across 6 VISITS today, ALL with Crispy Shrimp Fritta (which has Gluten), and each being with a new sauce (4 have Gluten). I haven’t had this pasta much so this gives me the chance to directly compare the pasta with a different sauce. 3 of 6 sauces up is Alfredo:

…Wait, wrong Gluten-Free Rotini with Alfredo… Let’s try this again:

Phew, much better. So this had a similar issue as the Asiago Garlic Alfredo, with the noodles absorbing the sauce so this also lacked some of the flavor. Or it could just be the taste of the Pasta overpowering it, although it didn’t taste all that strong to me. I know with the Traditional Meat Sauce, I could barely tell a difference, but here, it was more pronounced. I also noticed a bit of bite and perhaps almost a little grittiness, this go around. Not a huge fan with this combination. A very sad 5/10. Luckily, the Crispy Shrimp Fritta was on standby to save the day, as you can’t go wrong with that, no matter the combination.

Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $15.88:
