Today’s theme is Gluten-Free(ish), which means I’m be having Glueten-Free Rotini across 6 VISITS today, ALL with Crispy Shrimp Fritta (which has Gluten), and each being with a new sauce (4 have Gluten). I haven’t had this pasta much so this gives me the chance to directly compare the pasta with a different sauce. 6 of 6 sauces up is Traditional Marinara:
So I’m sad to say it, but despite this looking great, having plenty of sauce, and the shrimp looking fantastic, I just did not love this meal. I think a large part stems from me not really loving the Traditional Marinara either, with anything. 4/10. I’ve only giving a 4/10 rating one other time, and that was during my Soupendipity Theme, for Minestrone. I did enjoy the Shrimp at least, but the Traditional Marinara only took away from this combination. Sometimes a little bit of meat just happens to make a huge difference.
