For meal 8, I decided to go with a classic, Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken:
And if you haven’t learned by now, I LOVE cheese:
My lovely daughters Chloe & Olivia were excited for their meal too, Linguine & Tomato Sauce. Here they are waiting at the lobby (it was PACKED tonight with a slight wait, at 5:30pm):
And here they are at the table, coloring and playing with stickers while we wait for our food:
Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken has long been a favorite of mine, and during the Buy One, Take One promotion that just ended last week, I almost always chose that. It’s just always delicious. One thing I recently found out that I plan on getting during this promotion, is you can add a side of Broccoli to this entree, which is usually how I have it when I make it myself at home. Really looking forward to trying that. Keep in mind that isn’t a mentioned side, so adding it will likely incur a fee to Pasta Pass-holders.
I thought the Alfredo sauce was slightly less portioned than normal, so I asked for a little extra, which was no charge of course.
Here is a picture of the Ziosk summarizing our order before providing my Pasta Pass. I saved $15.14 with tax for my meal.
I decided to only eat half tonight since one of my rules is to stay within my daily calories, and while I have enough when factoring my exercise calories, I will be having a protein shake after the gym! Fortunately Olive Garden allows you to take home all your leftovers from the Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion, once the food hits the table.
Here is the nutritional information for the half-portion meal (as you can tell, I had a LOT of grated cheese!):
