For today’s lunch, I visited county # 12 on the 8 Weeks of Pasta journey, over in Kissimmee, FL (Osceola County) as I was in the area today. I went with a refill portion of Fettuccine, Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Crispy Shrimp Fritta, which was modified from Day 9, Meal 17 which I rated 8/10, except that was a 50/50 sauce with Creamy Mushroom as well. Let’s see how this compares:
Wow, this was fantastic. I am surprised I haven’t had this yet, as I am pretty sure this meal consists of my favorites in each of the Pasta/Sauce/Topping categories. So it’s no surprise, this is totally a 10/10 meal! As you can tell, I got hooked up with the amount of shrimp today for this being a refill, and it definitely helped having shrimp in every bite. So good. Everything was just perfect.
For Dessert today during Dessert Week, I went with the classic, Tiramisu:
This has long been one of my favorites, as I typically get this often. This is the only dessert I’ve had so far this week that I have had before (numerous occasions), and today didn’t disappoint. Just a perfect dessert. Super light, creamy, and tons of flavor. It is described as “The classic Italian dessert. A layer of creamy custard set atop espresso-soaked ladyfingers.” I had a huge piece today too! While there is nothing wrong with this at all, and I would normally rate this a 10, since it isn’t quite as good as the Pumpkin Cheesecake, I have to (unfortunately) downgrade it to a 9 (although to be fair, the Pumpkin Cheesecake is really an 11/10 LOL). This gives the overall meal a 9.5, which we can round up to a 10 anyways! 🙂
Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $16.11 (7.5% taxes here vs my normal 6%):
