It’s new theme week! Today we start Soupendipity. One of the staple items at Olive Garden is their line of soups, and as equally if not even more important are their delicious breadsticks. This week I get to enjoy both! And besides dipping the breadsticks in the soups, I’ve recently discovered just how amazing those sticks are when dipped in the sauces! I’m beginning with my go-to soup of choice, Pasta e Fagiole, which is described as “White and red beans, ground beef, fresh tomatoes and tubetti pasta in a savory broth”. I’m pairing that with Crispy Chicken Fritta in the Asiago Garlic Alfredo sauce. Let’s getting dipping:
This was a good combination. I enjoyed dipping the breadsticks in both the soup and the sauce, and the Crispy Chicken Fritta as a standalone in the Asiago Garlic Alfredo was also good. 8/10 for the meal.
