Happy Halloween everyone! Let’s start this post off with an Olive Garden Treat:
A full cup of the awesome Olive Garden (Custom Andes) Mints! I’ve seen a few Pasta Passholders share photos of one of these filled cups, and I knew I just had to have one. Now full disclosure, I know we typically aren’t supposed to get something like this, however since I rarely get mints (I don’t ask for them, etc) I figured after 75 visits, it shouldn’t be an issue to “catch me up”. I asked my server if I could have a cup full, since it’s Halloween, and she hesitated for a second, and said “for you, absolutely”. Now that is fantastic service. I wouldn’t have been upset if she said she couldn’t, as I’m sure Olive Garden doesn’t want servers giving out cups of these mints, but I’m definitely happy she agreed to hook me up, as it made my night.
Okay, so lets get to the food. I had Rigatoni (again), for meal 2 of 3 today for Operation “Make Me Shrimpy”, which is off to a good start since I’m down 1.4 pounds after 1 day (the magic of water weight). Looking forward to weigh-in tomorrow. I paired the Rigatoni with Five Cheese Marinara this go around, and (obviously) continued with the Theme’s topping of choice, Crispy Shrimp Fritta:
I am a big fan of Rigatoni in general, and when paired with a fantastic sauce like Five Cheese Marinara, it is definitely good, but adding my preferred topping, Crispy Shrimp Fritta, definitely ties this meal together. 8/10. It could definitely use some fresh grated Romano, however, so when it’s not “diet” time, I’ll be dumping a plate-load of amazing cheese goodness right on top. Considering this is a mere 465 calories, I can’t complain at all!
Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $15.88:
