It’s time for the “Tour of Orlando”! 7 meals across 7 locations in 7 hours, around the Orlando area. Orlando is where it all started for Olive Garden back in 1982, December 13, 1982 to be exact:
7653 International Dr, Orlando 32819
Which has since been turned into this:
Olive Garden rebuilt the International Drive location, 1 mile down the street, which is where I previously celebrated National Pasta Day and is a VERY nice location.
Today I’ll be having all 7 pasta options, which includes Spaghetti, Rigatoni, Angel Hair, Fettuccine, Whole Grain Linguine, Cavatappi & Gluten-Free Rotini. Each meal will include Traditional Marinara & (1) Meatball, in a refill portion. Total calories are 2,945 across the entire day, and since my personal limit is 2600, I’ll need to ensure I get some extra calories burned by the end of the day! Let’s begin!
The 1st of 7 visits is going to be Orlando – Lake Buena Vista:
First up is Spaghetti, Traditional Marinara & (1) Meatball [Refill]:
Yum, this was a good combination. I knew this was going to pair really well. I’d give it a 7.5/10. While Olive Garden is very consistent overall, the one thing that seems to have slight differences is the level of spiciness of this sauce. This was very mild here, as you’d expect from a Traditional Marinara, although I very much welcome the spicier variant. I had Melissa M as my server, who was terrific.
A Tour of Orlando wouldn’t be complete with a quick trip to take a selfie @ Darden Corporate:
