Day 4, Meal 7

My Rating:

So here we are, meal 7. My LAST new pasta option available to me since I’ve tried the other 6, Gluten-Free Rotini. I paired that with my favorite sauce, Five Cheese Marinara along with Crispy Chicken Fritta:

..And I know what you are thinking: “Wow, finally a meal without grated cheese on top. Nope, don’t worry:

As this was the first time having the Gluten-Free Rotini, I wasn’t really sure what to expect texture and taste wise, but it was great and did not disappoint. I have no reason to actually eat Gluten-Free, as you can tell with my sauce and topping choices, neither are Gluten-Free, but I still enjoyed it very much none the less.

If you want a true Gluten-Free meal with your Rotini, pair it with either the Traditional Marinara Sauce or Traditional Meat Sauce, and if you desire a topping, add the Italian Sausage or Grilled Chicken, which are all Gluten-Free choices.

This is a significant meal for 1 simple reason: I am in the GREEN with my Pasta Pass! As the Pasta Pass costs $100, as of this meal, saved $105.58! Now technically, since I had to pay 6% sales tax on the pass, I really spent $106, but who’s counting? Yea I know, I am. As you can see below, this meal I saved me $14.82 with my Pass!

So while it’s not normal to have a $0 balance, one concern some Pasta Pass holders might have is how to leave a tip.  I experienced this today when I went to pay with my card, and inquired of them simply authorizing a penny charge so I could use my card. After some uncertainty and clarification with this restaurants awesome GM, she took care of it right away. I really love the Inverness, FL restaurant. Service is always great, food is always delicious, and it’s minutes from my house!
