For tonight’s dinner, I ventured over to Lake County, FL, as I decided I am going to try to visit 16 Olive Garden locations across my region (averaging a goal of 2 per week). So far I have been to locations in the following Counties across Central Florida: Citrus, Hillsborough, Lake, Marion, Orange, & Sumter.
For tonight’s 50/50 split, I mixed in Five Cheese Marinara to one of my all time favorite and most ordered dishes over the years, Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken:
Sadly, I did not love this sauce mixture with this meal, as the Five Cheese Marinara really took away from the flavor profile I have come to truly love with the Grilled Chicken. It just didn’t pair well for me. I rated it a 6/10.
Side note, when I first got to the restaurant and was waiting, I heard a gentleman mentioned to the hosts at the front desk that he had won a Pasta Pass and I ended up asking him if he has a Pass once he was done talking to them, and unfortunately he won it LAST year 🙁 I was hoping to have finally met someone in person at the restaurant but I was let down…
Besides trying to go to a bunch of locations, I am also going to “try” and hit 1,000,000 steps, as tracked with my Fitbit One, between September 25th and November 19th, which would be awesome. It averages just under 18k steps/day, and currently I’m averaging around 12k. I need to step it up (literally).
